My name is Lana Rock, welcome to my site. I am so excited to see you here today. I was in your shoes only few short years ago, struggling with fluctuating weight, hormones, diet, energy level and mood swings. The process of aging is inevitable, and it should be fun to grow as you go through life. However, as much as I thought I knew how to keep myself in shape it was not easy. Fortunately, the knowledge and skills I obtained and applied during my sports and fitness career became really helpful. Over twenty years of my fitness journey is presented to you now. Let’s chat about your goals and desires!
MY STORY
I was playing sports most of my life and I had it in my mind that I will be able to maintain that condition for a long time. Every decade of my life was bringing new “surprises”, the muscle tone was not there anymore and the fat start creeping in all the wrong places. Now add some aches and pain, natural wear and tear, medication and hormones, bam, you got a picture. Not a happy camper… I thought I was doing everything right-choosing the right ingredients for my food, cooking with less fat, avoiding certain food categories, you name it! I was working out consistently but felt like I am running on the hamster wheel. Sounds familiar?
Fast forward, from my mid-thirties to my early forties that is where it got tough. I had a choice-go for multiple surgeries to get rid of pains and cut off that stubborn fat OR get serios about my physical health. The main reason was the health and the quality of life and at the same time I had a dream. I always admired those women who could step on stage as a fitness model. Crazy I know! The desire to achieve that goal was greater than the reason why not to pursue that dream. So, I decided to go for it. The results were amazing! I put in hard work and countless hours educating myself on the proper exercise routine, specific nutrition plan and most importantly my mind set. Where am I going with this? You might not thrive for stage like I did but honestly you are here reading this, there might be something that drives you. Is it the way you look in your outfits and the fear of number on scales, or perhaps your relationship with food, or your relationship period? Can you honestly say you are excited about every day of your life with the way you look, feel and interact with others?
